Until recently i was unable to stream AVI files to my Xbox 360, until i found Transcode 360 (Website Link). unfortuneatly this came with an error accessing the transcode directory, giving the error. “Transcode360tray.exe has stopped working” A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. until i found the answer on the forum so i thought i would share.

Solution:
when you receive the error about writing paths. following a reboot after install do the following!

1:open explorer
2:naviage to the transcode directory
3:edit the security by rightclicking the Transcode360 dir.

4:Add the following user: Everyone

And give the permission full controll, click apply and run transcdode again
